Hi friend! My name is Taylor, but you can call me Tay. I’m a 24-year-old American with a passion for budget, solo, and female travel. I’m here to share my travel hacks and destination guides to inspire a new era of more informed and prepared travelers. Thanks for visiting my site!
For the past 6 years I’ve been exploring Europe, North America, and parts of northern Africa. In 2017, I decided to create an Instagram account to document my experiences called @thetravelingtay. That eventually blossomed into this website! Here, I focus on sharing my personal travel recommendations for all the places I’ve visited. In a typical post, I’ll tell you where to stay, what to do, where to eat, and how to get around. My primary goal is to be authentic with my travel guides, so I only post about my personal experiences.
I quit my job in mid-2021 and have been traveling through Europe ever since. I started in the Greek Islands and plan to explore Eastern Europe next. I’m consistently updating my Instagram with travel tips & photos documenting my journey. Be sure to follow along!
